Garden of Edo Massage Oil

WOOHOO!!!! I'm posting the final product in the Garden of Edo Collection!  It's taken me a while, but does anyone really care?

The Shunga Organica Erotic Massage Oil can be purchased separately at Shunga for $24.95 or at EdenFantasys for $18.99.  I'm not sure if I would have bought this on it's own had I not received it in the Collection.  It seems rather ordinary.

Keeping with the organic theme, Shunga has made this a oil extravaganza.  This particular massage oil contains: cold pressed sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, grape seed oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, natural vitamin E and flavor/aroma.  If you're like me you might have thought, "I cook with some of these...".  It's a lot of oils to make up one massage oil, but each have their properties and uses.  The sunflower and rapeseed are the only certified organic ingredients, but for a massage oil I really don't care if it's organic.

The packaging is typical of bottled massage oil.  I often have problems with the packaging because the oil tends to seep around the edges of where the cap and bottle meet.  I have this problem with the KamaSutra oils and have to take extra precautions when I store them.  Each scents gets it's own ziplock bag.  It's bulky and completely annoying.  With the Shunga oil, I've found that it doesn't have that problem.  Perhaps the cap and bottle fit more closely together?  I'm not really sure.  The cap on this is the standard disc top cap and you can see it in the picture provided.  It does it's job rather well.  If you open the cap and tilt it upside down it will drip one drop at a time in a steady, but slow stream.  There's no gushing oil all over the place.  To make more oil come out of the bottle all you need to do is apply light pressure and you've got a perfect amount of oil.

I find the scent very interesting.  Most of the products in this collection are "green", earthy, and meant to smell like green tea.  I find green tea to be very distinct and yummy and none of the products smell like green tea or the intended scent.  This oil smells kind of like honeydew melon.  It smells sweet but crisp.  I'll be honest and say I haven't tried their normal massage oils because I've been using KamaSutra's massage oils.  In comparison to the ones I own verses the Shunga oil, I'm more inclined to like the Shunga brand more.

The oil looks very ordinary in the bottle.  It flows just like a cooking oil, feels like a cooking oil, but please don't eat it like a cooking oil.  However ordinary it may seem, the moment it's on the skin the magic happens.  The oil gives a nice slip to the hands when you go to massage.  It feels silky as it glides on the skin and it makes the skin wonderful to touch.  I do find that the oil soaks into the skin rather quickly, but even though that happens there is still a small amount left of the surface so your hands still glide effortlessly.  When the oil is mostly gone and rubbed into the skin it has a velvety feel to it.  I've never had a massage oil feel like that before and this gives Shunga a one up on KamaSutra.  KamaSutra's oils just feel oily and I have a tendency to use them as a bath oil instead of a massage oil.  With the Organica Massage Oil I use it for massages and sometimes when I get out of the bath.  If you use it as a moisturizer, let it settle into your skin before going outside.  If you have fair skin and you leave when it's still slick on your skin you'll crisp up and burn in the sun.

A little goes a long way when you use the Organic Oil.  Just for my hands when I use it as a moisturizer, I only use 4-6 drops.  If you're going to massage parts of the body, you need to start out with less oil and add more as you need it.  I've found that for a back massage you only need a small amount.  To measure, all you need to do is cup your hand and your palm forms a bowl.  All you need to do is fill that bowl (your palm) with oil.  It's about the size of a large coin.  That amount has always been perfect for doing the expanse of the back and shoulders.

If you're unsure about giving a massage or have never given a massage there are easy ways to get started.  The first thing you need to do is make the person comfortable.  Decided if it's a sexy massage or a relaxing massage.  Depending of the reason for the massage depends on how you give the massage.  Then you need to figure out if you want to start with the feet and work your way to the temples or start at the temples and work your way to the feet.  For a sexy massage, keep the strokes light and play with the skin.  Find the places that turns the person on.  These places might be behind the ears, inside the wrist, the bends of the elbows, the backs of the knees, lower back or the feet.  When and if you touch the feet, use the pads of your fingers instead of the tips.  The person getting the massage might not appreciated being tickled.  If you want you can also massage the breast, butt or groin area as a added benefit of the massage, but save those moves for the end of the massage.  It's all about foreplay.  If it's just a relaxing massage it's nice to use long smooth strokes.  It's also ok to put some force behind your hands as you massage because there might be tight muscles that need some love.  You can still do the moves from the sexy massage, but I find that when I want a relaxing massage I want less sex and more romance.  So maybe that how you should think about it when you give a massage.  If you want to end up with sex, be light, flirty and sexy in giving the massage.  If you want to romance your partners body you can be firm, smooth and fluid with your massage.

Since this is the last review for the Garden of Edo Collection, I hope you can get a feel about the products.  I know I didn't do the reviews close together or in time for Christmas, but I'm sure you guys can make educated guesses on if the products are fantastic or drab.  I know that I will, in the future, buy this set.  If there are any question about the set or I didn't explain something clearly, just send me an email or comment below.

Garden of Edo Collection - Ahprodisiac Oil

You all are a very silent bunch.  However, it suits me just fine if you are comfortable with silence.

Today I'm going to review the next product in the Garden of Edo Collection - the aphrodisiac oil.  I will tell you know that my heart really isn't into this right now, but I've put off reviewing this long enough.  If there is something I neglect to mention or you want to know just tell me.

Continuing with the organic theme the Aphrodisiac Oil doesn't disappoint.  Containing glycerin, propanediol, flavor, sodium saccharine, FD&C Blue #1 and FD&C Yellow #5.  The only thing that made me question the overall safety is the propanediol.  As I recall it's in other products in the collection and it's not really that bad, but I suggest you don't guzzle the whole bottle down at once.  Kissing and licking are ok.  Well more than ok, it's welcomed!

The bottle is sold on it's own on Shunga for $24.94, but you can buy it from EdenFantasys for $17.99.  The bottle it 3.5 fluid ounces and is made of glass.  Be sure to take care and not drop it.  That would be disastrous.  There is a stopper that acts like a cork, but isn't made of cork.  It feels like a dense, spongy plastic.  The bottle its self it rather beautiful because you can see the almost sorbet lime green liquid inside.  The label is the characteristic entwined lovers.  There is a minor dislike about the packaging.  The stopper is rather difficult to remove even with non-oily fingers.  The best way to remove it is with one or both thumbs on the stopper and push it away from you.  When you've push the stopper, twist the bottle a little and push again.  You don't need that much force because if you do, you might break the stopper and get it stuck inside the neck of the bottle.  If you try to pull the stopper straight out you might cause the bottle to jostle and make the oil to spill all over.

When you manage to get the bottle open (hopefully you didn't make a mess) you might find that the oil smells like bubble gum or bananas.  I know it sounds weird, but that's what it smells like to me.  It's not really unpleasant, but not anything like any green tea I've tasted.  Perhaps Shunga took an artistic approach in interpenetrating the flavor of green tea.  I haven't had any spill of anything I like (sheets, towels, clothes) but I would imagine that it would stain.  Not green, but I think it would leave an oil spot.  Keep that in mind if you have anything you really love.  It might be best to lay down a towel or a protective cover.

As you pour it out of the bottle it has the consistency of oil from a massage candle.  It flows, but yields a little as it's poured.  However, that's where the similarities end.  When it's on the skin it beads up and the more you work it into the skin the less it pulls apart.  When it's on the skin it will have a tendency to run like a thin oil, but it wont move as fast as water.  Does that make sense?  It also has a warming sensation to it when it's first applied to the skin.  I'm not sure if it's meant to do that, but it's not unpleasant.  It still smells like bananas (to me at least) on the skin and when you kiss or lick the oil it tastes like cotton candy.  Very sweet.  I haven't allowed it to dry on my skin, because there isn't really any left to have dry.  I find that it tastes really good, but I also like sweet things.  I imagine that it would get sticky before drying completely.  When what's left is wiped away, my skin feels soft and it has the light scent of the oil.

I really like this oil.  Would I do a whole massage with it?  Not at all.  It would be too messy.  This oil is perfect for target areas on your partner.

Good Morning To Everyone In Cyber Space

Good morning!  It didn't start that well for me, but after trucking about town for a bit, the morning air has done wonders for me.  I just wanted to touch base on a few things while they're still on my mind.

I know I have 2 more reviews coming up for the Garden of Edo Collection - the massage oil and the aphrodisiac oil.  I want to get those up before Christmas, but with the holidays who knows what's going to pop up or if I'm going to get distracted again like I already have.  With that being said I have all kinds of things I need to review.  If you guys want I can post a list of the things I own and if there's something you really want to know about you can just tell me.  I just need you to tell me if that's something you want me to do.  Otherwise I'm just going to pick something at random to review.

I want to thank Red for commenting and for giving some insight as to what Na4 EDTA was and where to find it online.  Still not 100% sure what it really does, but I appreciate the effort.  If you have any comments or questions you don't have to hesitate or feel embarrassed.  You can leave a comment at the end of a post or you can contact me via email which you'll find in the Contact Me tab.  Also, if there is something I'm not talking about in my reviews that you would like me to do, I'm open for suggestions.  I try to be as detailed about the things I was concerned about when I bought the products so that you won't have to wonder like I did, but I know that I might forget to say something.

Please also keep in mind that you are not obligated to use your real name.  Anonymity is perfectly ok.  If you send me an email asking a question or requesting a product review I will give you a name (tasteful of course) to protect your identity unless you say otherwise or you give me a pen name.  Keep in mind that if you post a comment you are in charge of your name.

Garden of Edo Collection Lotus Flower Bath Salts

Hey everyone!  Today I'm continuing the Garden of Edo Collection and I'm super excited about this one.  I think it's because I've never really had such bath salts before.  Shunga calls it "Oriental Crystals", but I only ever call them bath salts.  You can purchase the salts alone for $22.50 and there are 3 different scents.  Today I'm talking about the Lotus Flower scent, but I'm sure they all smell awesome and leave the skin feeling just as wonderful.

Now, as with all the other items in this collection the main theme is organic.  I checked all the ingredients that I can look up because looking up fragrance and colors are not something I could find.  The main ingredient is the Dead Sea salt.  I thought that was pretty self explanatory.  It also contains sodium lauryl sulfate which makes the salts bubble up and foam, sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate is a colorless salt that is an emulsifying (or binding) agent, and the last ingredient is glycerin.  Again I find that glycerin is as self explanatory as the Dead Sea salt.  All are organic or organic based.  Even if it wasn't I don't think I would give a fleas breath of difference.

The container it arrived in, other than the main container that housed everything, is perfect.  It's all made out of plastic with the typical entangled lovers on the label.  It's really sturdy so if you drop it you wont have to worry about the plastic cracking or the lid flying off.  The jar is 14 ounces by weight and it's rather heavy when you hold it in your hand.  I love that the lid screws on tightly without a lot of force.  The last thing you want is to strip the lid and not be able to close it again.  Enough of this logistics mumbo jumbo!  I want to get to the good parts.

The first thing you will notice when you open the jar is the scent.  It smells heavenly.  It's actually really hard to describe, but I'm sure you would get a kick out of the scene I'm making.  I've got my face inches from the jar trying to figure out the scent and if you hardly find that amusing I know I do.  It's very distinct, but difficult to describe.  I guess I would describe it as an earthy flora smell, but it smells sweet.  Not a candy sweet, but like the sweet smell of the rain on the wind before it gets to you.  It also smells cool and not because I think it's awesome.  For instance there are scents that smell warm to do patchouli or sandalwood, but this specific bath salt smells cool.  It's also feminine and masculine all at once.  I would love for it to be a perfume because it smells so damn sexy.

You will also notice that there is a shell inside the jar.  You will find that it fits in the palm of your hand.  Mine is just about the same size as my palm so you get good sized scoops out of it.  I noticed this a little late because the shell got buried and I was a little enamored with the scent and color.  It happens.  The shell is a huge plus in my book.  This helps with portion control and keeps your fingers from getting green and salty feeling.  Use your discretion when dishing out the salts though.  2 small scoops usually take care of my bath tub, but I know I can get away with one.  If you're worried about the scent not being strong enough with such little quantities, you're being silly.  The scent is strong enough to handle the smallest amounts in bath water.  Now a word of caution and if you're like me you need to pay attention.  USE THE SHELL!!!  If you use your fingers for anything your hand will come away green.  This sucks because if you touch the salts and this plan to do other things while the bath fill up your going to get icky fingers all over everything.  The color of the salts is a algae green and if you want to pull up your hair or grab a book then you're going to feel it in your hair and see it on the pages of your book.  Trust me.  I know.  The one thing you don't have to worry about is staining anything.  At lease when it's already in the tub.

The water will turn a very beautiful green color "reminiscent of green lagoons" when the salts dissolve.  If they're being stubborn, just use your foot to swirl the water about to dissolve the salts.  This is the fun part.  Being in the water.  Now if you're on a mission to wash your hair, shave, exfoliate or anything other than just relaxing you need to take a shower before hand.  If you want to know, I have used a white washcloth to keep my neck warm with the sweet smelling water and it didn't get stained but it wasn't that pleasant smelling the next day when I took a shower.  It could have been a number of things that made the washcloth stick, but I just don't use one because I don't want the hassle.  That is the only con.  There was no colored ring around my tub or the tub being super slippery when the water drained.

The one thing you will notice is how your skin feels.  Can anyone say silky?  I don't want to say that the water gets oily like when you use a bath oil, but it's something similar.  You don't see an oil slick on top of the water, but something in the salts makes the skin just feel so soft and fun to touch.  You might also feel like your a little slimy when your skin is under the water, but I can assure you that the moment you dry off (it won't stain your towel) it feels like you've already used lotion.  The scent of the salts is very fragrant and it fills the whole room and it sticks to your skin when you dry off.  I've found that when I use the salts in the morning (just because I want to) people can still smell it well into the afternoon.  Not like an in your face, just used applied smell, but if someone hugs me they can smell it on my skin.  Perfect for those who have lovers.  I find that there is nothing more sexy than a good smelling man.  Not a pretty boy smell, but the "I've been working hard and smell like sweat, and what I used in the shower that morning" smell.  The bath salts offer that kind of clingy scent is just exciting.  Again I wish it was a perfume or a cologne.

Anyway, before I become to hot and bothered by the thought of a sexy smelling man to type properly I just wanted to say this.  There are a lot of bath salts on the market.  A lot of them are cheaper than the Shunga salts, but I can't seems to recall any other bath salts I've used that has made this kind of impression on me.  I've been using this for about 3 weeks and I've hardly made a dent in the jar.  I've never had my skin feel as beautiful with any other bath salt and I've never had a bath salt smell so intoxicating.  I will buy this again on it's own when I run out.  No questions asked.

With that being said, I'm not sure that if you were to buy it separately that it would be exactly like the one from the collection.  I hope so because I love the green color and the plastic jar.  Also, I have been told that KamaSutra has bath salt and if you find that you can't handle strong scents then their salts might be up your ally, but it only comes in one scent.

Got a Giveaway Surprise in the Mail Today!!!!

So happy to go to the mail box today.  It was unexpected to see my gift from the Undercover Condom giveaway they hosted on their Facebook page.  I had expected it to arrive well after Christmas, but lucky me!  They advertised the giveaway saying that 5 winners will get get a gift worth up $50.  I had thought it would be a condom celebration when I got the gift but how I love to be wrong.  They sent me the KamaSutra Getaway Kit worth $29.99 on their site.  I just looked it up in KamaSutra.com and it's $24.99.  Totally cheaper to buy it at KamaSutra than Undercover Condoms.  Oh, well!!

For those interested to know the kit comes with: 1 french vanilla creme body souffle, 1 vanilla creme oil of love, 1 sweet honeysuckle honey dust with feather duster, 1 love liquid lubricant, and 1 romance scented candle.  All mini of course.  I can't wait!

What about you guys?

Blossom Organics Revitalizing Breast Cream

Alright!  I know I get distracted easily!  This wont be a review for the Garden of Edo Collection as I'm sure you can see from the title, but rather for Blossom Organics.

*

In October since it was breast cancer awareness month, there were loads of companies and bloggers giving away items in support of self education and a cure for breast cancer.  On such blogger was True Pleasures.  True Pleasures was giving away 4 gifts to 4 separate people.  As you signed up to win you had to say what one you would want to win most and that was what you were going to get it you won.  I signed up for the Revitalizing Breast Cream.  I've heard about it from other reviews and from the Blossom Organics website and I really wanted to try it!  I am however very cheap and I won't spend $30 on something that seems ordinary.  Imagine my joy when I won this from a hardly winable giveaway.  1,756 people entered and I was certain that I wouldn't win, but there you go.  Hehehe!

When I finally got it in the mail I was like a kid at Christmas.  I was surprised to find the box it was in to be so small.  I was equally shocked to see how small the jar of cream was - only 1.7 fluid ounces.  The jar is made of heavy duty plastic and is rather stylish.  No one would know what it was for unless they take the time to read it.  When I first opened it I thought that the cream looked very unappealing.  It's a muddy cream color instead of white.  Now I love that it's not white because I know that Blossom Organics didn't bleach or un-color the cream.  However, the scent was a curve ball.

I was expecting a soft feminine scent.  Something floral and sweet.  Denied!  It smells just like what I remember Play-Doh to smell like.  It brought back so many memories of when I was a child and I figured I wouldn't be able to use it because of the scent.  After a few days of using it, I found that the scent is heavily concentrated inside the jar, so when you apply it to the body it smells very nice.  Of course this is coming from a woman that buys the Original Carmex Jar because I love it so much and because it reminds me of when I used to live and visit Colorado.

Now, I'm sure your wondering the real purpose of the cream.  Blossom Organics says is rather plainly on their website and on the box.  You can use it when you do your monthly home breast exams so that your fingers glide across the skin and/or you can use it everyday to promote soft skin and breast health.  (You can also get your honey to help you with the application if you wanted to.)  Another good thing is that Blossom Organics advertises that their products are organic or are organic based.  I really believe them because I was looking up some of the ingredients and I wasn't frightened by any of them.  They choose ingredients that are good for a woman's body.

Just so you know, I've been using this cream for 2 weeks and I will be devastated when I run out.  The texture if the cream is very thick, creamy and silky.  If you read the EroStick review you will remember that I turn my gloss tubes upside down to see how viscus it is.  I do the same for lotions and creams.  This cream didn't move at all.  You don't need to use much of the product to feel the moisturizing effects.  I started off using it twice a day and I see no need to change that.  Since my 2010 summer trip back to Colorado, I've gained a lot of weight.  I went from a size 4/6 to a size 10 and I've maintained that because I like being a little more curvy and I feel more healthy.  Does that make any sense?  Anyway, moving on.  I've had a lot of stretch marks on my breasts so I thought that this might help.  I have used Mederma for stretch marks and that got rid of most of them, but I was still left with some.  I've found that Mederma is really wonderful for getting the most of the work done, but it didn't make my skin feel nearly as soft and supple as the cream did.  If you ask around, most people would say 2 weeks to see results is impossible, but I have noticed the fine stretch marks slowly get lighter.

I'm not to bothered either way because it makes my skin feel so wonderful.  The more I use it the more I love the scent because of reasons I don't really understand.  Just one of those things you recognize and move on.  Will I buy this again when I run out?  Damn right I will.  If you want to buy any of their products Blossom Organics does not sell their them from their website, but rather through affiliates.  You can buy it online through companies like Walgreens, Drugstore.com, JimmyJane, Babeland, Wal-Mart and Amazon.com.  If you go to the Blossom Organics website they show all of the specialty stores and their locations that sell their products as well as natural food stores like Whole Foods.  I find their products to be very agreeable, female friendly and well worth it.

On a side note, for every Revitalizing Breast Cream that is purchased, Blossom Organics donates $5 to the Breast Cancer Fund.  Super awesome plus!!!  Also, as a courtesy and for education, in every box of cream Blossom Organics puts a self-exam instruction card.

Garden of Edo TOKO Lubricant

Second part to the Garden of Edo Collection from Shunga.  This review is for the TOKO Organica Lubricant.  If you want this particular lubricant it is offered on its own for $19.95 instead of having to buy the full collection.

Since this whole collection talks about being organic I did some research to see if the products they really used and show on the ingredients list is organic.  The Organica contains only five ingredients: water, glycerin, propanediol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, and Na4 EDTA.  I know water and glycerin.  Pretty straight forward.  Prpanediol controls the viscosity and hydroxyethyl cellulose is the thickening agent.  As for Na4 EDTA...still not 100% sure on what it really does because I'm not scientifically inclined enough to really understand what the internet says about it.  Something about being a binding agent at an atomic level.  All that I understand is that it's an organic compound.  If you know what it really does, please let me know.  Other than my own super fast search on what each ingredient is, I see no reason why they wouldn't categorize this as an organic lubricant.  Another thing to note is that it's paraben free and safe to use with latex.

It's a rather large bottle of lube and doesn't pass TSA requirements, but it's no big deal.  At 5.5 fluid ounces I feel like your getting your moneys worth.  The actual lubricant itself has a thin to medium trace.  When a few drops are placed on the back of your hand and you tilt it, the lube runs rather freely.  Not as runny as water since it does have a thickness to it even though it looks and moves just like water in the bottle.  You will also find that the lube will bead up on the skin when it's first put on.  Not so unusual I guess since the more it's worked into the skin the less it beads up.  It does feel very slick and silky and I like that it doesn't have a scent.  TOKO lasts a very long time, but you might find that you want to apply more as you go along.  No one's going to stop you.  The lube does feel sticky as it dries, but if you are still lounging around as it dries you might not even notice.  If you get up and start moving about, you will notice the sticky feel.  Simple as that.  Although, once it does dry your skin feels soft and moisturized.

The bottle is just like the Lotus Noir but better.  Flip top that does it's job by staying tight and the full top doesn't pop off nearly as easy.  You have to muscle it around to get it off.  So have no fear of leakage.

I really do like this lubricant.  It ranks in my top 5 favorites.  It's compatible with all my sex toys and is latex friendly.  I find that it's not irritating to any of the skin on my body and doesn't make my body unhappy in anyway.  It feels like my natural lubricant and a little goes a long way.  As a woman, I'm pleased because I don't feel gross afterward and have the overwhelming need to shower.  I'm sure a man will like it because of the longevity and feel.

Garden of Edo Collection Enhancing Gel

Sorry for the super late post of this part of the Garden of Edo review.  There has been some holiday drama that's been keeping me busy as well as the flu.  I figured that if I had the time to look at my ceiling and day dream hopped up on anti-flu medicines, I had the time to write at least one review.  So, rather begrudgingly, I present the Lotus Noir Enhancing Gel for her and him.

This enhancing pleasure gel is signature to this particular collection.  There are other Shunga products that seem to be almost the same thing.  The Dragon Virility Cream ($24.99) is for men and the "Secret Garden" Female Orgasm Enhancing Cream ($24.99) is glaringly obvious for women.  I'm not sure about either cream being comparable to the Lotus Noir gel, but I'm sure you get the same results.  I think this product is particular to this collection because of the claim that everything is made with some or all certified organic ingredients.

I looked up what some of the ingredients are and all of them are organic materials.  It contains certified organic glycerin for moisturizing and the organic propanediol controls the viscosity of the gel.  There are also things like L-arginine that increases blood flow and Vitamin E.  I couldn't really find any ingredients that were major or even minor red flags.  If you want to see the ingredients list just contact Shunga or jet over to EdenFantasys to see the ingredients.  I'm more than pleased with the quality of the Lotus Noir gel.

The packaging is very simple.  You can see the gel in the black container on the very right.  The labels (juslike all the other labels) have two lovers intertwined with the name of the company and product.  The container is one of my favorites because it is only 2 fluid ounces and it's slim.  When it's in storage or on your night stand it doesn't take up very much room.  The lid has good and bad qualities.  It's a standard flip top and it does it's job well.  I've never had anything leak out from the top when I've put it in storage.  The one negative is that if you twist the full top it pops right off.  It really doesn't take that much force, but one well angled drop or heavy item dropped on it can cause a HUGE mess.  So be careful when you handle the container because one false move can really ruin the mood.

Another thing I like about this enhancing gel is that it's on the thick side.  I generally call viscosity from thin to thick and the way it travels from thin trace to thick trace.  When you first go to apply in on parts of the body you'll find that it does flow freely, but it's not as thin as water or oil.  If you place a small blob of it on the back of your hand it will crawl rather slowly instead of rush away.  So I would call this a medium to thick trace.  Super awesome for particular placements.  It's viscosity is thick and ever so slightly sticky enough that when you run your finger over and lift up you will get strings stretching from your skin to your finger.  I find that this is perfectly adequate.  Compared to other enhancing or stimulating gels I've used, this one lasts the longest at 10 minutes or more.  The gel itself gives a slip to the skin so you can easily massage it into any part of the body you want to arouse.  It does feel sticky the more it dries and morphs from feeling like silky gel to a silky thick oil and it has the habit of forming a light foam when you run your finger over it, but it settles quickly when you're not touching it.  Does that make sense?  Yes...No?  The only other way I can explain it is like this.  If you have ever used spirit gum you know that the more you touch it the more sticky it gets.  Same thing with the gel as your touch it and as it dries.  Just so you know, this gel doesn't stay sticky.  It dries to a nice silky or satiny finish.  So if you don't have to wash it away if you don't want to.

The scent reminds me of a lot of things.  When I first smelt it I thought they used Jolly Rancher apple and watermelon flavors as a scent.  It definitely smells more fruity/floral and feminine than a masculine smell, but it's very sexy.  Just remember that while there is a item in the collection that is lickable, this gel is not meant for consumption.

From my experience this is the best of the best.  I like how you can feel the difference before you use it and while you're using it.  The directions say to massage the gel on the clitoris and the head of the penis before sex.  It stands to reason that you could also use this on nipples or other erogenous zones just because it feels so good.  When I first used it I noticed a major spike in sensitivity and loved how every little touch made me jump.  It will make you feel sexy, hot and aroused to the point of madness.  So if you ever need an extra hand at reaching your orgasm you should try this, but don't take it lightly.  It's an enhancing gel that packs a major punch that will leave you and your partner breathless.

KamaSutra EroStick

Ok, the Garden of Edo Collection is taking longer than I had though and I keep getting distracted so I can't really finish any out of the 5.  So I thought I would switch it up to get my mind off it.  Without further ado, the EroStick from KamaSutra.

These lip glosses are kissable and perfect for getting those pouty lips.  It comes in 3 flavors: Love-Me-Mint, Tempt-Me-Strawberry, Kiss-Me-Cherry.  I love the sleek packaging that comes with the gloss.  The outer box is the typical KamaSutra box complete with logo and Indian pattern in the color of your gloss.  The inner box is beautiful.  It's matte black with shiny scroll work around the window were you can see the gloss.  Once the gloss is out of the box you really have no need for it, but it's beautiful all the same.

Now normally I would jump at the mint flavor gloss since I love those them most since they tingle.  However, KamaSutra advertise these as tingly and the box mentions a "warming glow" so I figured I would try something I normally wouldn't.  I usually tread carefully when it comes to scented lip products.  I get headaches really easy when a scent is off.  I can't use Burt's Bees chapsticks, SoftLips, and some Blistex products.  Major bummer, but there is such a large market for lip products that I'm not worried.  I ended up getting the strawberry flavor and I'm really pleased.  The scent has a distinct smell of what I recall most artificial strawberry scents smell like.  Not unpleasant, but it doesn't smell real.  What of the taste?  There is no flavor.  If there is my tongue can't tell.  It has a super mild sweetness to it and I have to work really hard to taste it, but I'm glad it doesn't really taste like anything.

The color of the gloss is a light strawberry color and I swear I can see a tiny bit of pink-ish color on my lips even though they advertise it as a colorless gloss.  Not a big deal since it's not a BAM! in your face pink.  When you apply it, you will notice that over a few minutes your lips getting more of a darker pink (or a darker shade of your natural lip color) and obviously more pouty.  When I put the gloss on I noticed at first that it felt warm.  After about 30 seconds I felt a tingle that felt like prickles or little bug feet.  Bug feet?  Gross and not very classy, but there you go.  After about a minute it went away and it felt lukewarm.  Doesn't really take long for the intense tingle to go away.  If you swatch the gloss on the back of your hand, you'll find it to be rather sticky and not tingle at all.  When you apply it to your lips it's super silky and just glides on.  It's really moisturizing and last longer than any gloss I've ever used.  I can wear it for hours and never feel the need to reapply.  Perhaps it lasts longer because it's a thicker gloss.

To the amusement of almost everyone I know, I always get curious about the viscosity of my glosses and I will (without fail) turn my gloss tubes upside down.  Why?  No idea, but I do know that this stuff didn't budge one millimeter.  I've had some glosses come rushing out of the tubes and it get over everything.  Another major plus this gloss has that most of the others I own don't have is that the wand goes almost to the very bottom of the tube.  You can get the maximum amount of the product without having to resort to silly antics when it's almost gone.  The cap screws on super tight and there is no seeping gloss around the edges.  That means no wayward gloss making your purse sticky!

On an unrelated note about the gloss and it might just be mine, but there seems to be little "fibers" in the gloss.  That's as good as I can describe it.  I just held it up to my desk lamp and saw all these little things inside the tube and thought it might just be scratches on the inside of the tube.  Not the case.  It could be from the wand tip or purposely put there.  I'm not really sure how to explain it, but if you want to buy these you can ask about fibers in the gloss and see what Kamsutra says.  I would be interested to know.

Anyway, this gloss prices $15.99 at KamaSutra and at EdenFantasys.  It's really high for a gloss.  Not saying that Nars, MAC or YSL aren't expensive, but you know your buying a high end and good quality product when you buy those brands.  So KamaSutra, really?   $15.99?  You can do better than that!  I can justify $10, but I find it to be rather expensive for a tasteless, artificial strawberry smelling, plumping gloss.  Do I love the feel of it one my lips?  Oh, yeah and I wear it everyday because I love it so much.  Would I get this again?  Maybe.  If the price goes down?  Totally would buy it again!!

If anyone is wondering about using this with your partner, really think about it.  This gloss feels great to the person wearing it, but it might feel horribly gross to the other person.  I plan to use this for my use only and as a weapon in my flirty "come get me boys" arsenal.  Not for bedroom activities.  That's just my personal preference.

I also want everyone to know that I did have to go through the buying process with KamaSutra, but they sent me a $20 gift card to use in their store after I wrote on their Facebook page how much I love the new website layout.  So I really didn't pay for any of it, but still had to look through their products for what I wanted.  Use your judgement when buying this and read more reviews about it.  You might find that you don't want it and if you do get it against your better judgement you'll just be pissed that you could have spent $15.99 on another product you wanted.

raison d'ĂȘtre

What is your raison d'ĂȘtre?  This simple phrase haunts me with it's not so simple meaning.  What is your reason for being?  The weight of the notion of having a place is awesome and nauseating.

On the slightest chance that you find your lot in life (it might not be a lot, but it's your life) and you like it consider yourself lucky.  Deep down inside every being there is a need to be...useful?  Perhaps wanted, left alone, productive, active, or maybe even inspired?  I'm not sure.  Being human means I know I can't speak for the next human but knowing that I am human means that I certainly will try.  For reasons beyond my understanding?  Cloud be.  For the chance that I might understand another?  Possibly.  For the hope that I can understand myself?  Most definitely.

The thought that everything has a reason for being is a glorious one, but it only seems glorious if you like your reason for being.  I hate that at this moment my raison d'ĂȘtre is to please everyone I know and be so pleasant and happy about it.  To make it seem like I ooze sunshine and rainbows from my pores.  To keep sparkles in my eyes, a skip in my step, and be eager to make everyone's wishes come true.  Dear God, I'm a bippity boppity boo away from loosing my mind.  It stands to reason that if I liked being an eternally happy people pleaser my reason for being would be ideal.

Do I sound bitter?  You might be thinking, "Oh, yeah".  It's ok, I think so too and there's nothing wrong with that.  If I felt content all the time about my ridiculousness or the ridiculousness of other people I would think something was wrong.  Being pissed about where you are, what your doing, how your doing it and at the world is normal.  It's educating and down right entertaining when you look back at it.

If I could would I change my reason for being right now?  Hell yeah!  However, I know that if I changed it know, I wouldn't get the lesson I need to to survive in my future.

You Can Fake It, But Love The Skin You're In

Hey Ladies (and Gentlemen),

Have you ever wondered how to get the perfect natural and simple makeup look?  It's really easy and you can do this with super expensive brands, drugstore brands, or even online brands.  I have a major hodgepodge of brands that range from a few dollars to $50.  Some, I will admit, are better quality than others and not because they were more or less expensive, but because of the quality.  Some expensive beauty products are pointless and you can find duplicates at drugstore prices that are easily 10 times better and more thought out.  I hope I can explain it a way that is easy to understand.  Just remember that you should be comfortable with and without makeup and know that it's ok to be different.

I'm a firm believer in less is more.  If you're a makeup pro and like over the top looks, don't let this hold you back.  I've just found that you can catch someones eye when you look like you're makeup is barely there verses caked on.  That is if you wear any makeup at all.

First you need to know is it always starts out with skin care (cheap or expensive).  Healthy skin equals beautiful skin.  I usually find my skin care on Etsy or health food stores and they're cheaper than drugstore brands and most of the time they're organic and better for my face.  If you still have problems like getting dry spots or peeling don't worry.  All you need is a good face primer.  There are soooooo many out on the market that finding one to fit your facial needs and your budget shouldn't be difficult.  I ended up trying Tarte Clean Slate Face Primer and it retails for $30.00.  A steep price, but I wanted to try it out.  You might be able to find it cheaper at places like Ulta or Sephora.  I do know that CoverGirl sells a primer for $12.98 at Wal-Mart and $15.00 at Walgreens.  Even though I hate Wal-Mart, they have the best prices for most beauty items.  Primers, for those who don't know, help in the application and the longevity of your makeup.  It gives the skin a slip for better coverage and it can help hide dry spots and peeling.  I don't always wear a primer, but if I want to have a little security I'll wear it.

You can now turn to foundations and concealers.  I own Stila One Step and I like it for when I need extra coverage.  It's a foundation and concealer in one and it does it's job well.  It normally retails for $44.00 but they have been having an on going sale for $14.99, so snatch them up while you can if you like One Step.  For the times I want barely there coverage, I use a LUSH product called Colour Supplement that is $15.95.  I like it because you can use it as light or as heavy as you want it and they have five different colors to use directly or mix.  Often times I dip my pinky finger in so I get I cap of color in the tip of my finger and I mix it into my moisturizer.  Then I can use the color straight to cover dark circles and activity on my face.  This product has lasted me a very long time and I'm not even a quarter of the way through the jar.  You can also go to ELF and buy a tinted moisturizer that ranges from $1 to $3.  Simple enough.  However, make sure that when your applying foundation or tinted moisturizer that you go all the way to your hair line and down you neck.  It's really unattractive if you look like your wearing a mask.  The next step is cheek color.

I often think that a natural cheek color looks like its underneath the skin instead of on top of it.  I really like cream or whipped blushes for one simple reason.  If you apply a cream blush like the ELF cream blush in Heartbreaker ($6) and then apply a skin tone face powder over it, it makes it look like you have natural color to the cheeks instead of awkward color slapped on your face.  I also use Benefit's Benetint  that's $29.00 and it's just a rosy lip/cheek stain.  Another favorite is MAC's Wonder Woman blush in Mighty Aphrodite.  I'm not sure where you can buy this collection (perhaps on Ebay or Amazon) and I'm not sure how much I paid.  It's a pretty duo color (one matte, one shimmer) that airs on the side or a peachy coral.  I think it makes you look beautiful and gives you the illusion of being tan.  You can also get something like the SKINN all-in-one palette by Dimitri James and it comes with three blushes, one matte contour, one bronzer, and one matte highlighter.  This really comes down to what your comfortable using, but less is more.  Don't pack on the color.

Once your done with all the face makeup, use a skin tone or translucent powder to set everything.  Setting your makeup will make sure it doesn't run or migrate from where you put it.

Next is the eyes.  I love a natural looking eye makeup if any at all.  ELF sells simple little palettes for $3 with six shadows and a larger palette for $5 with 32 shadows.  I also like the NAKED palette from Urban Decay and it retails at $48.00.  In that palette you get twelve shadows (matte and shimmer) and you can make a natural or smoky eye.  There are endless possibles.  I even think they just came out with a NAKED2, but I have yet to see it and judge if it's worth it.  Best thing you can do with any eye shadow to keep them as close to your skin tone as possible and matte.  A skin tone color on the lid, a slightly darker one in the crease and a shade slightly lighter than your skin tone under the brow.  At least that how I manage a natural eye look.  Another thing that helps is mascara and liner (if you want it).  I like Blinc because it's cry, smudge, clump and flake proof.  It forms tubes around your lashes and the only way to take it off is to use warm water and gentle pressure.  I swear by it.  There is also Bad Gal Lash and Buxom Lash.  Neither are as awesome as Blinc, but they're good all the same.  They can give some of the most natural lashes without overdoing it.

Lip colors are at your leisure.  I often times use a matte lip balm like Blistex RPM for men or Carmex.  If I want a pop of color I use Korres lip butters, Tarte's lip tint, or Victoria Secrets Beauty Rush.  If I want some pucker and plump I use ELF plumping lip gloss  or Too Faced Lip Injection.  This is whatever you want it to be from a balm, a gloss or a lip stick.  Just keep it classy.

I know that this might seem like a lot to do but this only take about 10 minutes to do.  Everything can be as simple or as complex as you want it, but it's easier to add more than it is to take a little away, to try to keep a light hand when applying.  Also, some of the best tools you can use are your hands.  However, if you're doing makeup on another person it's best to use brushes for hygienic reasons.  Just remember, makeup isn't for anyone but yourself.  It alters what you really look like, even if it enhances your beauty.  Don't ever think that you have to wear makeup just to get someone to like you and don't fall for someone telling you they like you only in makeup.  Call bullshit because natural is beautiful.  9 times out of 10 I just go without and keep a lip balm in my pocket.  I wear makeup because I want to not because someone else wants me to.  If you find that after all that work that the makeup isn't what you wanted, just wash it off.  You can fake being pretty by adding makeup, but you can be daring and love the skin you're in.

The Platinum Jack Rabbit

Ok for those of you that have tried and have loved and/or hated your rabbits I can understand why on both accounts.  EdenFantasys sells the Platinum Jack Rabbit by California Exotics.  It's normally $82.99 but I bought it on sale for $58.09.  For those of you who are curious, it's is currently on sale.  The Jack Rabbit is 10 inches long with an insterable length of 5 inches.  The external vibrator and the control panel take up half the toy and I often find that silly.

When your on Eden, you can choose from two color schemes.  The first one is a glitzy and (personally) a cheap looking gold.  The other is like the picture above.  Silver all over the place!  If you look at the photo you can see there is some glitter toward the base near the bullet.  I wished the glitter was all over the toy, but it's of no great consequence.  Obviously you can tell that there are the peals that meet up with the body and you can see the wand that goes through the shaft of the toy.  The rabbit portion is rather flexible, but it can cause problems if the ears or any part of rabbit can't reach the clitoris.

With that being said, the rotation and vibration speeds are pretty awesome.  I know it might sounds a little crazy, but this baby can whirl.  On the highest rotation setting (there are 7) you get great external and internal stimulation.  As for the ears, the vibrations are intense.  That is, if it touches you.  There are three straight vibrations intensities and four patters.  The pearls are sweet on all settings, but if you have strong vaginal contractions, you could actually inhibit their movement.  I've found that it doesn't really take that much force to stop the pearls.  If your careful I'm sure you can avoid that.

The control panel is really straightforward.  Seven levels per rotation and vibrations.  The buttons are easy to press and make a click when you do.  I like that because if you can't feel the change in rotation or vibration you can at lease hear that you made a change.  Now you can cycle through all the levels by using the plus and minus buttons and if you need immediate shut off, all you have to do is press the off button.  It stops all rotation and vibration in an instant.  However, it does not save the setting you left off on.  You'll have to scroll through them again.

They advertise the Jack Rabbit as a waterproof rabbit, but I'm concerned that over time it might not be waterproof anymore.  There are some hollow spots on the Jack Rabbit that can be punctured and that can ultimately make it not waterproof.  Examples are in order I think.  Where the pearls are at there's nothing but a membrane and empty space between the rows of pearls.  There is also an hollow cavity at the top of the toy where the rod goes through the shaft.  I'm sure damage wouldn't come from actually using the toy, but I think damage would happen in travel or in storage.  The one place I have no worry about is the battery compartment.  This particular rabbit take 4 AA batteries and they are held together inside the toy by a rectangle battery case.  It's super easy to remove and to get the batteries in and out of.  The lid closed crazy tight without a lot of effort.

The Jack Rabbit is perfect for beginners and for advanced users.  I'm on the fence with this toy.  If I look at the experience I've had with it, I might lean to never buying this kind again.  It's been bad luck for me.  When I first got it, it looked perfect.  Nothing was out of place.  So, naturally, I was excited to give it a spin.  I loved the pearls until I actually had an orgasm.  My muscle contractions cause the pearls to stop completely and I was left unsatisfied.  The head of the toy was ok, but I really didn't feel it.  While the pearls are working like crazy the actual insterable part of the toy seemed lazy and when the pearls stop all rotation stops.  Major thumbs down.  The actual ears on the rabbit are wild when they get turned on, but they didn't turn me on or get me wild.  The ears, head and body of the rabbit never came in contact with my body.  I had to bend the vibrator to get it to touch me and I felt like I was going to break the toy.  So (with great disappointment) I ended up stimulating myself.  I found out later that the ears will reach my clitoris if I gave up the feeling of the pearls.  As if!  I'm not about to give up the only good thing I like about the toy!  Oh, another thing went wrong was while I was trying a bag to store it in.  Trying to find a bag big enough for this thing sucked!!!  In the time it took me to find an ok (only ok?!) bag it had come in contact with another toy in my playchest and the Jack Rabbit started melting.  FUCKING MELTING!  There is a huge melted spot on the body on the external vibrator, thinning spots where the pearls are located, and a spot on the head of the toy.  I guess this toy is going in the trash.  I just looked down at it and the melted spot one the bullet is rubbing off the more I touch it.  Great...

Use your own discretion when buying a rabbit.  There are good ones and bad ones (like mine) and you need to research which one is best.  I wish you luck and hope you have a better time than me with your rabbit.

JimmyJane Massage Candles

I have a lot of JimmyJane products.  The most of which are massage candles.  There are two types of candles, Ember and Afterglow, and one sampler pack containing 6 mini Afterglow.  The Ember is that largest massage candle JimmyJane offers.  At $40 the Ember comes in five scents, is 12 ounces, measures 3 x 3 x 5, and will burn for 72 hours.  The Ember is rather heavy and is made out of smooth white porcelain and in one of the bottom corners is the JimmyJane label.  It's not a peel or sticker label, but rather paint from a stamp.  I currently have the Ginger + Date and Vetiver + Honey.  The scent of both of them when they're solid is a little overwhelming, but when it's melted I find that the scent is very perfume like and gentle.  I wanted to show this particular picture because you can see the size in relation to the hands.  While the candle is large it's not difficult to handle.  The complete list of scents:
  • Honeysuckle + Clover
  • Vetiver + Honey - vetiver is a woodsy smell and is manly (though unisex because I love wearing it), but the honey makes it more sweet
  • Ginger + Date - you can smell the sharp snap of ginger, but the date makes the scent more sweet and less spicy
  • Lychee + Lapsang
  • Truffle + Gardania
*
There is also the Afterglow and it is an average sized candle.  It reminds me of the size you can get from the brand Glade.  It costs $25, comes in six scents, measures 2.6 x 2.6 x 2.5, is 4.5 ounces and can burn up 32 hours.  The Afterglow is the same in every way to the Ember except in size and scents.  You can see the size difference of the Afterglow to the Ember when yo compare the pictures.  I currently own the bourbon and I have to say am more of a fan of the Afterglow because the size can be more manageable and scents are more crisp.  The complete list of scents:
  • Dark Vanilla
  • Pink Lotus
  • Cucumber Water
  • Grapefruit
  • Bourbon
  • Gingersnap - I currently don't have this candle
*

JimmyJane also sells the Little Afterglow Sampler.  This is perfect for anyone who wants a little of everything or you want to get someone a gift.  It costs $50, each candle is 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5, is 1.7 ounces, and can burn up to 12 hours.  The candles are split into categories called WIT, CHARM, AND KINK and are six candles in the Sampler:
  • Cucumber Water (W) - smells just like cucumbers
  • Grapefruit (W) - smells kinda like a grapefruit (more like the rind than in actual edible fruit)
  • Pink Lotus (C)- smells very floral
  • Dark Vanilla (C)- smells like a synthetic vanilla and it reminds me of the vanilla scent on toys I had when I was a little girl
  • Truffle + Gardenia (K) - smells just like Gardenia and this is an Ember scent
  • Bourbon (K)- smells like what a good bourbon tastes and is the most manly of the candles

*

Overall these candles are the best I've ever tried.  I love that they smell sexy and they look sexy sitting in my bathroom, by my bed and round the house.  However, with all the candles I mentioned, use cation.  The wax is oily and with the porcelain your hands can slip very easily.  A good way to pour is they way in the photos with the hands.  Use the spout on one of the corners to help direct the flow.  It might also help to place your thumb on one side, wrap your index, middle and ring finger around to the other side and place your pinky under the base to give it some support.  I've found that this minimizes the risk of dropping the candle.  It might also put your mind at east to know that all the ingredients are body and skin safe.  The wax has soy, aloe, vitamin E, shea butter, jojoba oil, is paraffin free, lead free, and contains a natural cotton wick.  It's paraben free and contains "no phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, animal products or animal testing" (taken directly from their website).  I love that you can use these to massage the body, use them as a lotion for when you get dry skin, or use them to illuminate the room.

Here's some tip:
  • Make sure there is a large pool of wax.  It should take 30-45 minutes for the pool to reach the edges of the candle.  If you don't there will be a big hole in the center and that just doesn't look pretty.
  • Make sure you blow out the flame. (please don't forget)
  • Pour the wax directly on the skin and rub with your hands or massage tools.  The wax won't burn because the wax has a low melting point.
  • Dip your fingers into the wax and then apply it to the skin to pinpointed places.
  • Use long, smooth strokes and avoid any ticklish spots.
If there is no more meltable wax left in the containers, take out the wick, clean the container and use them around the house.  Recycle the beauty of the JimmyJane candles for other household items.  If there is still wax inside the containers and you can't melt it with the wick, just scrape it out and put it in a non-food related container (keep the container out of your food containers so there won't be contamination). You can melt it on short, 10-15 second bursts in the microwave or rub it in your hands to melt it.  There doesn't have to be any waste!

KamaSutra Honey Dust

*
The KamaSutra Honey Dust Body Powder is one of my favorite kissable products.  If you buy this from KamaSutra's website it's $23.99 and I find that to be reasonable price for what you get.  As you can see from the picture there is a 8 ounce air tight tin, one feather duster, and one black satin bag.  You might be wondering, "where is the dust stuff?".  That's a very good question.

When you get your package either through the mail or from a shop, there will be a plastic bag inside the tin that holds the Honey Dust.  With that being said you can do one of two things.  #1: Empty the plastic bag full of the dust directly into the tin.  #2: Empty plastic bag full of dust into the satin bag.  If your like me, you'll find that the tin is so much better for the Honey Dust than the satin bag.  The tin is air tight when you press firmly down on the lid and it can hold the full amount of Honey Dust.  Nothing can get in.  If you do by chance want it in the bag I have to ask why.  To me it would seem like your wasting your product.  The bag is not air tight, the bag is black and you will be able to see all the white dust that falls on it, and objects can end up inside the bag (dust bunnies, bugs, etc.).  Oh, and you can fit the feather duster inside the tin space to actually get the dust product on the body.  Where as if you use the bag the space is smaller and the feathers might not get product on them at all.  Note that you don't store your feather duster in the same container as the dust.  I think that's what the bag is meant for, but to each there own.

You might be wondering what the Honey Dust is made of since you can kiss and lick it and not die.  Simple.  It's made of corn starch, natural honey, fructose, (for the one I own) honeysuckle and other body safe things.  Not very scientific I know, but that's how it is sometimes.  I do know that if you want to know the all the ingredients you can contact KamaSutra and they can give you the list of ingredients.  I've never really worried about it, but you might.  Moving on!

When you look at the dust itself you might notice that for the most part there is no color.  Who would want colored body dust anyway?  There are little honey colored dots in the dust, but I think that's because it's actual honey.  The taste of it is sweet and the smell is fragrant, but not a "BAM! in your face" kind of way.  I have the Sweet Honeysuckle and it's smells and tastes like I what remember real honeysuckle smells and tastes like.  Maybe that's why I bought this particular one.  A bit nostalgic, but can help make new memories.

When you apply it to the body use the feather duster.  If you loose the duster, you can purchase body puffs from websites like Etsy or find one by surfing the web.  The feather duster is easier than a puff, but both have their flaws.  The duster is quick to pick up the Honey Dust, it's easy to get the dust on the body, it tickles and entices the skin, and the duster is made well enough that it won't fall apart in your hands.  One down side is that you need to buff the dust into the skin using small circles so it's only a light coating of Honey Dust and not a splotch of it.  Light coasting tastes good.  Splotch of dust doesn't tastes all the good.  The puff is a wonderful idea for those who want ultra quick application.  Just make sure the puff can fit within the tin (or bag if you choose to use it) so that it can pick up the product.  You need to be careful about the puff.  It can be more messy and you have a greater chance of getting splotches of dust.  All you need to do if that happens, just drag the puff through the splotch and it should defuse the dust into a light coating.  The puff feels wonderful being pushed across the skin if it's soft.  So invest in a nice soft puff.  If you just want to use this a body powder, that's fine too.  I often use it when I get out of the shower (please be completely dry, if not you'll have matted dust on everything) as a light fragrance and it helps when your out in the heat and you're sweating.  You might think that if you sweat it will get sticky, but that's not the case.  It might be because it's mostly corn starch, but I like using it under my breasts and on my thighs during the summer months.  You also might think it feels grainy since there is sweetener in it, but it makes the skin feel super soft and silky.  If you use any makeup at all, it can be compared to a translucent setting powder.

I really love this product because it can be used solo or with your partner.  It smells good, tastes great and makes you feel desirable.  If you think that spending $23.99 for this is too much let me tell you this.  I bought this a year or so ago and I still have a lot on Honey Dust inside the tin.  It lasts forever, but if you have a honey who has a sweet tooth it might not last as long.  If your a woman, I think this will make you feel sexy and powerful because that's how I feel when I wear this.  I feel like saying, "come and get me boys" because I have power over my body and the Honey Dust just makes me feel like a woman and not a mousy book worm that I normally am.  If your a man, you might like the Honey Dust because it might bring out a softer, more sensual side that women love.

JimmyJane Form 2

The JimmyJane Form 2 is a revolutionary toy.  For anyone who has tried a rabbit and found the shaft of the toy to be pleasing, but the ears to be severely lacking, this little power house makes up for all the useless ears.  The Form 2 is a multispeed, rechargeable, waterproof, quite, travel friendly go getter.  Made out of medical grade silicone so you can sterilize it in a boiling bath for 3 minutes, place it in the top rack of your dishwasher, or with soap and water.  This toy is perfect for solo or couples play.  The "ears" on this beast don't stop when they touch the body like most rabbits since each "ear" has it's own motor.  Each "ear" is flexible enough to get the perfect angle or you can pinch them together for added sensation.  The Form 2 comes in at 3 inches long and 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the wides part.  It's rather weighty, so don't drop it on your foot.

The Form 2 offers a wide verity of speeds and pulsations.  As you can see in the pictures there is a plus and minus button and a button that has a wave line.  It might not seem like this can offer that many variations, but it does.  The wave button cycles through the four patters and the plus and minus buttons increase or decrease the level of intensity by five levels.  You can remain on the same pattern and get five levels of intensity.  If the Form 2 doesn't make your toes curl then I want to know why because it gets me every time.  Another thing that gets me is that whatever pattern you level it on when you shut it off is the same one when you turn it on.  I love that feature.  Nothing is worse than having to remember what pattern is your favorite and having to cycle through every single one to figure it out; but since this vibrator only has four, it's not so difficult to remember.  To turn it on all you do is press the plus button and to turn it off you press the minus until is shuts off.  Now an awesome feature that most JimmyJane toys have is the travel shut off.  By holding down the wave and plus button together it locks the toy so that it wont be buzzing up a storm in your luggage.  To unlock all you have to do is hold down the wave and plus button and it will start right up.

Also, the creative genius' of JimmyJane made all their toys for full body contact.  Meaning that you can do just about anything imaginable with this toy and it should be fine.  On second thought, perhaps you should use some restraint and reason so you don't upset the integrity of the toy, but I find it to be a rather sturdy fellow.  I've dropped it on carpet and in the shower and it's never preformed less than when I first got it.  The "ears" are very durable and you should have no fears when using them.  Just don't make the "ears" do the splits or anything but you can use small movements to manipulate them.  It is meant for external stimulation only and it is perfect for stimulating the clitoris and surrounding area, to the nipples and the rest of the body.  You might also notice when you get your own Form 2 that there is a seam.  When you run your fingers over it you can feel it, but the moment you start to use it, you'll never know it's there.

When I won it from a JimmyJane facebook page giveaway and I could hardly wait to get it in my hands.  When I got the Form 2, I was so giddy.  I figured it had to be a good item because if you bought it out right from JimmyJane it was $145.  When I opened the box I found that I got the slate color (there is also a pink) and I was relieved.  While I do own pink toys, I would rather not because bright pink is my least favorite color.  Anyway, it comes with an instruction manual, the charging base, the charge cord and the Form 2.  If your like me, you'll find that over time the instructions get lost or thrown out.  So I'm going from memory on this part, but in time that's another thing that gets lost.

When I got the Form 2 out and everything set up, I found that there was no juice in the toy at all.  Sometimes there's still a little charge in them from manufacturing, but this one was d-e-a-d.  If that's the case (and you'll need to charge it anyway) all you need to do is place the toy in the charging base and plug it into an outlet.  That's it!  It might take a few times but when the connection is made for charging the light will be steady and not blinking.  If it keeps blinking, line up the wave button with the indent on the base.  The light should go solid.  For the first charge, keep it on the base for at least 2 hours.  After your first charge, you should have 7 hours (give or take) of play time.  Now here's how to know what kind of charge you have:
  • 3 blinks - high charge
  • 2 blinks - medium charge
  • 1 blink - low charge
  • 4 sluggish blinks - zero charge (meaning "charge me now!")
If you have the horrible timing and the battery starts dieing when your using it(and I have had this happen many, many times), the toy will shut itself off and blink 4 times.  I know that this is an orgasmic letdown from experience, so keep up of the charge so this doesn't happen to you.  Those 4 blinks will seem like they're mocking you if you don't.  Don't become a victim of zero charge!  Ah,before I forget to mention it, when you finish cleaning your toy, make sure to completely dry it off (with a lint free cloth to keep down on clingy fuzz) because if you put the toy directly into the base while it's still wet, it can corrode the charging connectors.  I've never heard of someone having that problem, but please don't become that person I giggle at because you didn't follow directions.

Another wonderful thing about the charging process is that since you put it in a charging base, you don't have to insert any plugs directly into the toy.  This is wonderful for those who keep up on the cleanliness of your toys.  By the way, you should never not clean your toys.  Ew.  That's beside the point.  What I'm trying to say is that it's nice not having a little opening to collect fluids that can possibly damage the toy.  Phew!  Also remember that since the Form 2 is made of silicone that you should use water based lubricants so that you don't damage the toy in the long run.

Since this toy is so fantastic, I really don't care about the noise level, but for you guys I'll give you a quick run down.  On any pattern on low you can barely hear it.  The higher you go on any pattern the noise level increased (naturally), but on some levels it can be louder than others.  I think that when it's on it's highest setting you can still hear if from under covers, but I'm not sure if you can hear it through a closed door.  It's not a high pitched buzz by any means, but you can conduct your own in home experiment should you get one.

When it comes down to it, the Form 2 is by far my favorite toy.  You get the power of a large toy in the palm of your hand.

JimmyJane Little Chroma

Around this time last year JimmyJane sponsored a giveaway on their Facebook page.  In the end I walked away with about $1000 worth of prizes.  That was because I stalked their Facebook page everyday from the time the contest started to the end of Christmas.  It was a very merry Christmas for me that year!

The first thing I won was the Little Chroma in red.  The Little Chroma is 5 1/4 inches long and has a diameter of 5/8 inches.  With the insertable length is 4 3/4 inches, you can get enough penetration to feel some good vibrations.  This baby is a waterproof, one speed, metal menace.  Just don't let it's size fool you!  All vibrations are almost completely silent and it comes with JimmyJane's patented replaceable motor and one complementary AA battery.  It's the perfect travel partner for anyone who is shy about traveling with sex toys and even for those who aren't shy.  JimmyJane has a three year limited warranty for those who register their toy through the JimmyJane website.  I strongly suggest registering your toys because anything can happen and it's better to be covered than not.  While this is what everyone wants (maybe), the price not so much.  At $125 you might find that the Little Chroma is not for you.  If you can manage to spare the money, you won't regret it.

Now that I think I covered all the basics I'll get into how much I do and don't like the Little Chroma.  While it was free and I'm sure would have bought one for myself, the product is very, very basic.  I love that the body of the vibrator is made from metal.  This would be a great addition for anyone who loves temperature play.  If not, then you should know that like most metal objects that are kept near the body, the metal will heat up naturally or cool down naturally if kept away from the body.  To put it simply, there really isn't a way to escape the temperature difference, but you don't have to take it to extremes if you don't want to.  Another plus to the Little Chroma being that it's made of metal and that it can be completely sterilized by a quick boiling bath, 10% bleach solution, being on the top rack of the dishwasher, or washed with soap and water.  For any form of cleaning, remove the motor and battery.  However, I do dislike that the texture on the cap (you can see it in the picture above).  If you use or have a lot of lubricant (synthetic or natural), it can build up in the creases if the texture.  If all of the cleaning methods don't remove any of the build up, using a q-tip is the best way to get rid of it.  I know it's there to help you grip the cap and turn it more easily, but I find that when cleaning it's a nuisance  .Another plus I forgot to mention is that you can use water, oil or silicone based lubricants since the toy is made out of metal.

When it comes to the motor and battery, there is only one order in which they can go in.  This diagram is from the JimmyJane website where they sell the motors for $20.  The motor fits all of their cylindrical metal toys.  So if you have a Little Planetarium Eternity ($3,500), Little Steel ($325), or Ultimate Member Limited ($278) it fits just the same as it would in the Little Chroma.  The picture above clearly shows the order and the position in which the motor and battery are placed.  Now when the toy is not in use, you should have the motor and the battery out of the toy.  When you put them both back in to use it, be aware that there is no on/off switch.  When you screw the cap to the body of the toy is connects to the battery and motor, instantly causing vibrations.  If you are swift and sure, you can screw the cap on with minimal noise.  If your fumble a little, the vibrations make a rather loud noise before the cap is completely tight.  When the Little Chroma is complete with motor, battery and tightly screwed cap, there is light humming sound.  The rubber ring at the end of the cap makes the vibrator waterproof and I'm fairly certain it acts as a sound buffer, too.

As a side note, when ever you are finished with the Little Chroma and you remove the cap and open the housing to the air, you will smell an odd odor that you normally don't smell when using a sex toy.  It's a mechanical and slightly smoky smell, but don't worry!  The smell is from the motor working.  You also might find that when you remove the motor, that the motor is warm or ever so slightly hot to the touch.  Again don't worry.  This is a normal occurrence because it is a small working motor.  If you do find that it starts functioning out of the ordinary, contact JimmyJane and ask them if what you ear, smell or feel is normal.  If it comes down to it, buy a replacement motor.  Ultimately when a working part isn't doing what it's designed to do, you will have changes in vibrations and sound, so keep up on the integrity of your toy for your own sake.

Since sound is one of the #1 concerns when scouting out new toys, you will also be concerned about vibrations.  The Little Chroma is a once speed only with no twist dial.  The moment all the inner counterparts meet, it's starts vibrating.  The vibrations themselves are very strong and if you ever owned or heard a Sonicare toothbrush you'll get the idea of the pitch.  It's not very loud or high pitched, just enough to know that your using something that "hums".  Understand that the vibrations are stronger at the tip of the toy verses the end because the motor is placed at the tip.  If you want full on, strong vibrations, you can use the tip of the toy.  If you want something less direct, using the body of the toy give you a larger surface area.

I really do love this toy.  It's very versatile.  This can be used for normal penetration as well as g-spot stimulation.  Since the g-spot is only about three inches inside the body, the Little Chroma has not trouble reaching it.  It can be used for external stimulation like the clitoris or if your partner is blind folded you can use it to tickle their skin.  The Little Chroma is also small enough that you can use during sex.  As for anal sex, be careful.  There is no hold or flared base to keep this from disappearing inside the body.  There is a small drill hold on the cap that you can tread a catch string on, but if you're not confident using the Little Chroma for anal, don't do it.  Feel comfortable about what your doing because it makes you feel good and don't feel guilty if it's something you don't want.

Since December 2010, JimmyJane has upped their game.  They have just recently added new products like chocolate, masturbation sleeves for men, lubes from Good Clean Love and Blossom Organics (I will review some Blossom products), condoms by Sir Richard, sexy undies, and media (movies and books).  They have also started carrying new pleasure sets for those who want more bang for their buck.  Since they are a luxury and premium sex toy company, the prices will be higher than that of other companies, but I think it is so worth it.
